Flower School

Why not explore your creative side with my Flower School classes which range from total beginners and newbies to flower arranging, right through to experienced flower arrangers who wish to extend their skills further?

Flower School Courses include both traditional and contemporary floral design styles. Learn in a friendly and supportive atmosphere where classes are informative but fun.

As a qualified teacher with a Certificate in Education I taught both floral art and floral design and floristry in local adult education colleges for 15 years. I recently spent 4 years as a member of the National Education Committee of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies and for 3 years was Editor of their educational journal, Insight. I am a member of the NAFAS North Midlands Area Teachers Association as continuing my own floral design education is very important to me, attending as many workshops and day schools as possible as a student, to keep me up to date with the latest ideas, materials, styles and techniques – this is something I really enjoy!

Although I travel throughout the UK giving workshops and day schools, I also run Flower School classes locally. I am also always happy to hear from groups of friends who would like to enjoy creating flower arrangements for a special celebration, maybe a hen party, corporate event or birthday gift.

I am a firm believer in “fun with flowers” and my workshops and day schools are informative but relaxed and encouraging.
